Ljosalfar (Light Elves)

Hailing from the realms of Alfheimr, a Norse realm on the world tree, Ljosalfar or Light Elves are human looking beings with pointed ears, and a connection to light, life, nature, and positive energy flows. This strong connection to light and life energy means Ljosalfar have a strong pure energetic current within them, even the ones who don’t embrace that and explore the mystic arts as deeply. They are beings of powerful light energies, often taking toward study, deep intellect, intense training, and even more intense levels of contemplation of concepts like morality, ethics, harmony, and other points of positive concern. Since they are such deep thinkers, and so connected to nature and positive energies, many embrace some level of deeper training in the mystical arts, but those who don’t embrace a way of doing, thinking, and being that means excellence, precision, and refinement. Individuals vary greatly in their societies, with them having amazingly focused craftsmen, warriors who honed deadly combat skills, and types of mystic that range from those who worship outside powers to those who tap more into their own innate abilities. Most Ljosalfar have incredible levels of intellect, which makes them studious, and often deep thinkers. While they are diverse they are more likely to hone their skills with some level of mystical focus. Their communities are very “tribal” and “family” oriented, meaning they share the burdens of each other readily. Ljosalfar who seek to work with humans see us as distant cousins, and have a great respect for the innate strength humans have deep within our own souls. With their very “community” oriented view, they often see humans they work with as part of their community or family, and as such protect and aid them as they would family or tribe.
