Elder Vineweaver

He notes that his name is over one hundred pages of text, as he is an ancient Fae, and so goes by the name Elder, though part of his name, the part identifying his family line, and now the descendants of original people, would be Vineweaver. He is a master of natural, nature, and magicks of the forests, plants, lands, and animals. With this diverse, yet focused area of magick, he is not as much researcher as he is immersed, a force unto himself, and yet he keeps his mundane like body. Vast and powerful, he often works simpler arts such as alchemy, herbalism, and creating seals and sigils to achieve results both in the less solid realms, but also echoing into the solid realms. One could easily mistake his barriers for not being there, and then find simply a place they can not pass, and on the other side of it, a small sigil on a rock. This could measure the heart of the person coming through, their reason, their purpose, or just simply prevent entry depending on his intent. He's rare in his powers in that his magick isn't flashy, but it is POWERFUL. With the point of a finger, he can drop others into pain, the wave of a hand empower allies with new found strength, and the flick of his wrist seemingly swat a fireball the size of a mountain into the horizon like a fly that has displeased him. He is, more than anything, one who seeks to aid, and help, and achieve balance, healing, cleansing, and betterment for those around him. When he must fight, it is for him an almost lazy exercise, in close or at range, his movements seem like a man half awake, and yet, he strikes with the ferocity of a master of the combat arts. He considers fighting boring, but rejoicing and celebration exhilarating, and so tries to end fights quickly, and keep good times and happiness flourishing.
 
With long black hair, porcelain pale skin, and wearing deep blue, purple, cyan, or other colored robes he tends to dress with a flourish, and yet has an expression of peaceful contemplation most often. Calling him friendly would be a misnomer, he is present, and enjoys helping, but expresses emotion very little, yet feels it intensely. He is protective of those around him for whom he has allied with, and has destroyed empires on behalf of a squirrel before in his past. Because of this nature, he is an amazing guide, and protector, but much more. He's invested in the lives of those around him, though his appearance won't show that. More than glad to listen for hours upon hours on end to ones troubles he will then, simply say “ah, so that is what it is then” before he moves to action, with the focus and dedication of a master of his arts. Never mistake his seeming absence of emotion, for an absence of caring. He cares more than most, so he never lets his emotions slow down his gathering of information or actions to make the world better.
