Hnefi Malmsins

His name means Fist of Metal, and he is a Veil Jotunn who patrols the veil only when it is weak in an area, and spends the rest of his time training, fighting, protecting others, and generally seeking to bring hope to those who feel they have none. Born in the Veil, he has spent a lot of time traveling, and seeks an opportunity to settle down with a keeper and keep, a place he can call home, where he can continue to hone his power, and aid others in honing theres, provide protection, as well as maybe inspire others. His focus and power comes from his Megan, a Chi like energy, as well as a kind of Elemental Metal Amplification. This is a kind of metal magick, but it works in a way others don't. It's an impact amplification, and he wears full metal gauntlets as a weapon, or if times are really tough, a metal war maul with a massive head. He prefers to not rely on the Maul, as he says it encourages slowness, but if he is fighting something bigger than him, or stronger, he will summon it to his hand. He can bring any metal weapon unowned to his hand in a fight, or any weapon he owns, of which he does keep a collection. While he favors his fists, the amplification power really needs the explaining. He can increase the striking force of any metal object as if though it had a natural mass of a small planet. This allows him to create a reverberation as the attuned metal when hitting, creates massive shock-waves even in a vacume, causing even space itself to ripple with the impact. He can shift and tune this power as a defensive art, letting him “bash through” even energy attacks and abilities more powerful than his seeming limits.
 
With long blond hair, a muscular frame, and chiseled features he prefers to wear simple clothes such as tunics, and has a friendly but focused demeanor. He's ready with a smile when someone is passing by, or asks how things are going, but his focus and intensity lends itself toward an overly intense drive. This drive can be seen in his eyes, but within that is also a kind of compassion. When he was very young, he witnessed a raid on his home by dark beings who craved only death as a tribute, and has never shaken that memory. Because of this, he defends not just with power, but with his own life and noble purpose.
