Truhand Deeprock

He's a Dwarven Shield Master who focuses not just on his physical shield skills, but also on mystic wards, protections, barriers, and defensive arts. His shield arts alone are enough to let him tank hits from magickal and physical strikes from foes, and are almost a kind of magick of their own kind. Yet his greater skill set is in his ability to create shield barriers that recharge from the energy of the earth itself. He has a strong connection to earth, and has terakinetic abilities that let him move earth and rock easily. His family are gem seekers, miners, and underground fortress makers who are masters of earthen forces. While he shares a lot of the powers of his family, his calling is to protection, and his terkinetic abilities are nowhere near as strong as his shielding and protection powers. Merging the two allows him to create domes of incredible resilience, or fortresses make of rock, stone, gems, and metal easily.
 
At a young age he trained in Dwarven Martial arts, but finds that his strongest skills are using his tower shield as a weapon, and funneling explosive earth magics launchign boulders like cannon balls. As a result he tries to avoid close range encounters, and focuses on keeping distance. Once in close though, he's still deadly, just not as deadly. All of that though, is honed toward his quest for peace and compassion. This has result in him picking up various healing magicks from other Dwarven families, clans, and cultures, as well as Gnome, Elf, and Dark Elf healing magicks.
 
His family traits make him excellent at finding riches in the planes, which can provide boosts to ones luck and opportunities in our realm.
 
With a deep brown beard and hair, he tends toward wearing heavy armor as comfortably as most wear casual clothes, and moves with an easiness. He is friendly, often sporting a smile, enjoying happiness and humor, until his powers are needed. When in action he is all seriousness. He enjoys wood working and other crafts as well as gem cutting and jewelry making.
