Grimaldare Helmforge

A Dwarven wanderer, adventurer, and gift giver. He doesn't so much “study” magick as he does collect magick methods, trinkets, weapons, and crafting methods. As a wanderer by nature, he has traveled across thousands of mystical realms, and learned tens of thousands of ways to do things, many times different ways to do the same things. He keeps these methods locked away in small crystals he carries in an “inter-dimensional pocket” which can sort and bring them to him. Each crystal on command can restore his memory of the skill set, and provide a book with information on it, as if he had been mastering and focusing on it the previous year for the entire year. Because of this vast array of possibilities in his arts of creation, he can often create a simple sigil method, trinket, toy, weapon, or tool within a few minutes to hours for a task, and in a day can almost completely re-invent his skill set. Further though, with that little bit of time, he can quickly provide massive benefits to almost anyone else. Have a warrior who focuses on their single preferred weapon, one that can not be replaced? He can build bracers for them that provide a light weight armor, strength amplifier, and more! Have a Wizard who is an expert in all areas of magick? Surely some tools to help their workshop could make them more efficient in moments! His travels have taken him far and wide, and his skills have showed him ways to prolong his life well beyond the span of most of his people. In terms of fighting and defense, he's not dedicated to either one as a primary, but his skills make him solid in any role he takes on. He is more focused on his inventions, creations, and learning or creating new ways to do these things.
 
Personality wise he is always friendly, always ready to lend a hand. He has dark brown hair, and often wears brown clothes or robes of his people, with a friendly smile, and easy going nature he is ruggedly handsome. One such as him settling down even for the life span of a human may seem odd, but he's said he wants some time focusing on helping another person, for at least one life time, and if their soul/essence agrees for the next, he'd be glad to extend the contract. After all, what's a few hundred years between friends? He wants someone who, when the contract has run its course fully, be that this life, or next, or ten from now, he still calls friend, and whom if he paid a visit to and their memory returned in some way it would be of a valued ally who was always there for them, not just someone doing some work for them. Because of his deep knowledge, life experiences, and friendly nature he is a natural and compassionate guide who is quick to lend advice, but never one to press that advice. He believes in freedom and self determination most of all.
