Tirith Soul

A retired Veil Hunter who has had many jobs within that title, he is part Elf, Part Celestial, and has a hint of Fae ancestry. Often dressing in an “old western garb” as it fits his personal quest, he is a master of Elemental attack magicks. While unable to use elemental forces in other ways, he can honed attack magicks exponentially, and keeps a pair of amplifiers that look like six shooters.
 
These twin weapons carry 6 charged crystals that boost the raw fire power of his casts, and rotate around a cylinder. Their form is more an abstract of their function, but their form IS part of what inspired his “American Old West” attire. Each charged crystal takes around 10 seconds per charge to fully recharge its innate amplification, but they raise his listed power per shot by around five levels. When these are exhausted he'll often holster them, and focus on direct blasts from his hands for a wider blast, or fingertips. The amplifiers don't just boost the power of his blasts, but HONE them to a smaller profile, meaning that while the base power increase is 5, the amount of damage they cause is much higher on a hit.
 
He also carries a shot gun like weapon, but it appears more like a large wand or short staff than a traditional shot gun, and holds a single charge that amplifies, but spreads the power of his blasts. While it increases the power by that same 5 levels, the wider area means more destruction against larger enemies, or groups of enemies, than the revolver like amplifiers.
 
When he was a Veil Hunter, his primary job was hunting those who had comitted crimes against others through use of the veil, a kind of bounty hunter, as well as one who's job was to hunt those things that are more like monsters, lacking intellect, but frequently making up for it with ferocity. His skill set makes him able to fight beings two to three times stronger than his listed levels (including adjustments from those boosts) because he does one thing, and does it well. He fights. He's a master of evasion, and can work some SIMPLE Illusion magicks to give him an edge when a fight starts, but his core ability is destruction. His retirement isn't that he no longer wants to fight, but he wants the experience of fighting FOR someone instead of just AGAINST someone or something. While he has helped thousands of people in his time, he has never had the joy of actually seeing the outcome of helping others. It was always help, and move on. So he's ready to settle down.
 
With obvious Elven features, his pointed ears set against a short messy brown hair, and an outfit “so cowboy” that it's obvious he has a love for our “Old Westerns.” That said, of that imagery, the concept of the gentlemen, the kind man, the “I only fight when I have to” kind of person is instilled into his actions. He has a love of old movies, by our measure of time, and old books, and is enamored with ALL human cultures.
