Dreki (Norse Dragons)
Slender and often more serpent-like than Western Dragons, Dreki tend to have elemental connections, deep mystical powers, and a kind of supernatural wisdom to them. They tend to live very long lives, and act as “manifestations” of concepts, elemental forces, or to focus on a more singular purpose. While communities of Dreki can and do exist, they often spend a lot of time alone, away from others, or focusing on some important task to them. They many times appear more like Eastern Dragons, but with an almost Western Dragon Personality, though some Dreki DO fit the Western style of dragon kind. They are diverse in appearance, and because of this are most often confused for other kinds of dragons. What sets them apart is their connection to the same energies the Aesir, Vanir, Jotunn, and other Norse Beings draw upon, as well as the realms they travel. While not as often grouping together in groups, any Dreki who agrees to work with others tend to be viciously loyal, and protective of their allies. They embody many of the Norse Archetypes of bravery, strength, determination, and dependability.
