Elementals

Elementals are perhaps one of the hardest types of beings to define, because they are defined primarily by a core traint, an elemental force, that makes up all of their being. Because of this, their appearances are always different from Elemental to Elemental. Some are genderless, some gendered, and some gender fluid. Elementals are made up of “elemental energy” and originate from planes of reality that exist as core planes in which most of the world is made up of that energy in some form. Classical Elemental types would be individuals of Fire, Earth, Air, Water, Lightning, Metal, Wood, Rock, Ice, and other such types. That said, some Elementals are from planes such as planes of Truth, Justice, Compassion, Harmony, Love, Wealth, or other such idealized planes. Those coming from those realms often have a more esoteric, less human or animal like form, though this is not a given certainty. Elementals of more esoteric or conceptual elements such as an Elemental of Truth, are made up of the energy, and wield it often as a kind of light, or almost flame or water like substance. Transitional elements also exists, such as Mud, Vapor, Mist, and Lava elementals. Elementals that are transitional sometimes, but not always, have some power over the element types that make up their Elemental form, but always have access to the element of their form. So a Mist Element may have access to air and water, but ALWAYS has access to those in the form of Mist. Some elementals study wider elemental knowledge or mystical knowledge outside their core, but most lean heavily into their own personal polarization, focusing heavily on amplifying their skills and abilities in this as a refined way of being.
