Fomorians

Ancient, powerful, sometimes monstrous, other times darkly beautiful they are beings connected to the darkest aspects of nature, the aspects of chaos as a natural power. Often natural enemies of the Tuath de Dannan, they may actually share a distant relationship to each other. All of this comes from the history of them, but the reality is more complex. They are unique individuals, with some even having friendships with the Tuath de Dannan, while others see their chaotic nature as a call to pure destruction and becoming the enemies of all beings of goodness, order, and civilization. Because they vary so much among individuals, it’s always better to look at the commonalities we do know. Fomorians are, without question, deeply connected to the chaotic forces within life and nature, the essences of chaos, and as such often think far out of the box in problem solving. Those who seek to work with humans harness their chaotic nature as a force for good for those they work with, and hone that chaotic nature against enemies and those hostile to the humans they work with.
