Hydra

A powerful, and often large (house or larger sized) dragon that either has many heads, or can form multiple heads as needed, or when taking damage to a single head. Hydras have a variety of elemental and mystical natures, some having a single elemental or focused area of expression magickally, others with an individual or more elemental alignment or nature per head. Not all hydras regenerate a head to two new ones, but almost all hydras have fantastic regenerative powers and can regenerate so long as one head remains. Hydras are often diverse, either having individual personalities per head with an over personality, or the individual heads acting as limbs with some level of thought and independence similar to an Octopus. Because they are such a diverse type of Dragon their communities are even more diverse. That said, many if not most Hydras prefer solitude, and those willing to work with a human in our realm means a dedication and commitment to aiding them, as well as a want for new experiences outside their norm. Most Hydras have such a unique and diversified perspective on the world, viewing it from a single point with many lenses, that they provide an outstandingly brilliant diversity to those who work with them.
