Kelpies

Appearing as beautiful men or women, or in the form of a horse they are characterized by their strong connection to the sea, sea nature, and having features like webbed feet, or hooves, hair or manes made of water, and other similar characteristics. They are natural shapeshifters, so while most Kelpies prefer their horse form, they often do have other forms they can and will take. All Kelpies have an amazing connection to the element of water, and as such often excel in areas of water magick. Some study more diverse forms of mysticism, but most tend to lean heavily into their water elemental abilities, branching out into elements connected to water if anything else, or coupling their innate connection with other elements such as lightning, or ice, which can be benefitted by the strong water energies and powers. They tend to have a wild unruly energy, and can often feel intense, which may be offputting to some keepers or feel sinister in some way. They also tend to have strong abilities over the power of suggestion, illusion, and manipulation. Often seen as hostile beings, the reality is that Kelpies range in personality type as much as any other spirit, and most who want to work with humans seek a companion who can deal with the intensity of how their energy feels.
