Lares

Written about in Roman texts, these beings are guardian deities within their very nature. They appear mostly human in appearance, and have vast powers over prosperity, protection, and beneficial areas of concern. As a being defined by its purpose as also being its point of origin, they are highly focused on being beneficial, and are defined by their qualities of being beneficial to others. As guardian spirits, they often have a domain or area of influence. For most this is the home, but some are more guardians of mountains, forests, cities, towns, or other such. Others may be guardians of wealth, livestock, happiness, justice, or other abstract concepts. Those we seek for our clients are almost always home guardians, or those called to guard a single individual, and seek someone to be guarded. This can also include family guardians. Personality wise they are a highly focused, but friendly spirit, that tends to be easy to get along with. They are focused though, defined, and maybe even drawing their life force from being a guardian, this means they live and breathe their purpose in a way few other beings do.
