Nymphs

Written about in Greek stories and legends, Nymphs are a kind of nature being, or deity and are themselves a personification of nature itself. Nymphs have many forms and appearances with some appearing more human, and others more as an embodiment of nature itself. Connected to the elements of nature, Nymphs more often focus on their existing natural powers, rather than study other forms of mysticism, and rely heavily on their natural talent and power. Their societies tend to be places of serenity within nature, and to be realms of natural power, existing as sanctuaries of harmony. Nymphs crave harmony within nature, and those that work with humans enjoy bringing harmony to the world of humans. They do not require that a human live within nature, and will connect with the natural realms to draw those powers even into areas where mankind has imposed its own will onto the area. Friendly and easy to get along with, Nymphs who wish to work with a human or have a human companion see themselves as caretakers of the human, protectors, guides, and consider themselves responsible for their human friends. They are natural guardians and embody the essence of creativity and nature's splendor.
