Skogvaettir (Forest Spirits)

Originating from the forests specifically, this subset of Landvaettir, or Land Spirit, has a much stronger connection to specifically life in nature such as trees, animals of the forests, and forest areas than other land spirit type beings. They have a strong connection to forests, life energy, and the essences of forest nature. This stronger connection to life force energy, as well as to growing and living nature means their bodies often have a living nature like quality be they animal, or human like forms. With such a strong connection to life in particular, growing life, and life that changes, thrives, and adapts to what it needs to they often have some amazing healers, even those who are not as focused on healing, and fantastic cleansers. Their strong draw to life energy, means an even stronger draw to mysticism and the mysteries of life so many, but not all, become students of more complex or deeper magicks. Their communities in the realms they inhabit often are more preparation places, and resting places, mighty forests in which they can be a part of the forest, or with the forest, until they find a forest in a more dense/material realm they can connect with for a time. They tend to as a result, be travelers who stay a long time at places, and those who seek to work with humans have decided to benefit our realm, and our people, with their unique connection to nature. They don’t require a forest nearby to operate, or even a lot of plant life, and often tend more toward fresh water as an acceptable offering.
