Sprite

Sprites are most often small, tiny Fairies who range in size from a larger coin, to about the height of a coffee cup. Many Sprites can change size to a larger human size, but tend to retain the smaller size for the convenience, and for the opportunities to observe and commune with nature. Most Sprites have wings, with some having wings of light, air, or energy. This does not mean they always display their wings, and many choose to retract them when being stealthy, or for convenience when walking. Their elemental association ranges the entire elemental spectrum, but almost all Sprites have a strong connection to the energies of nature as a general connected force. Many have a strong connection to fire, light, life, and the natural world elements like wood. With such a strong connection to nature, they are as diverse as any other society, and families range from having more specialization in a few areas as a hereditary focus, to being as mixed of purpose as any human family. Their strong connection to nature means a strong draw to nature magicks in general, and most Sprites can work some nature magicks, while many are called to master these arts. Sprites are often potent guardians, cleansers, healers, or any other area associated with nature as a force of concern. When a Sprite has a calling to the arts of war, it almost always means a focus on either war magicks of some kind, or high speed, precision based weaponry, often charged by unique or magickal methods.
